Jennifer Bruce is a PhD Candidate in the School/Applied Child Psychology program at McGill University. She obtained a bachelors degree in Developmental Psychology at McMaster University and a Masters degree in School/Applied Child Psychology at Mcgill. Presently, her research focuses on the systemic factors involved in bullying policy and policy implementation. Previous research includes the quality of life in families of children with disabilities, and selective mutism. Jennifer has presented her research at national and international conferences, written several book chapters and research articles. Jennifer is the recipient of a 2010-2013 Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, Bombardier CGS Doctoral Research Fellowship (SSHRC, $35 000/year). In addition to her research endeavours, she currently works as a psychological consultant for the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School board.
